We are actively seeking an inspiring Account Manager with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team, ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and supporting long-term, high-value partnerships with our clients.
The right candidate will be able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously from initiation through launch and post-launch activities/opportunities. You’ll drive accounts forward by understanding business context and goals, success factors, platform approach and risks while keeping an eye on client timelines, client satisfaction, team engagement and profitability opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Proactive Client Relationship Builder:
- Develops, maintains, and extends client relationships by creating and maintaining a deep understanding of the client’s business, goals, and budget cycles, and can translate those into projects or new opportunities for WebEnertia
- Continually fosters meaningful communication between WebEnertia and our clients throughout the relationship and oversees day-to-day management of all client account interactions and projects
- Provide strategic planning for both short and long term client goals through QBRs and ABRs
- Is responsible for growing client accounts — both project base and revenue
- Acts as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts
- Manages ongoing correspondence and ensures a positive relationship with assigned accounts
- Assists Director of Client Services with outward-facing client relationship management
- Assists with potential new business (BizDev) opportunities
Strategic Thinker and Communicator:
- Delivers proactive, strategic, and relationship-based account management by continually providing solutions and ideas to clients, thus resulting in increased, profitable opportunities for WebEnertia
- Assists with client strategies and provides updates to these strategies as needs dictate
- Keeps informed of the client’s industry/segment to make applicable and impactful recommendations and suggestions regarding marketing strategy
- Ensures client team and WebEnertia team are thinking in an integrated way that aligns with the client’s goals and initiatives
- Assist in brainstorming strategies to help expand awareness of WebEnertia’s services
- As part of the team, be prepared for and participate in new business presentations and provide assistance in pitching fresh and innovative solutions to clients
Measurement of Success:
- Results meet targeted client goals and KPIs
- Achieve Gross Profit goals for assigned client contracts
- Work closely with the Client Services Director to ensure agency goals and client expectations are met
- Documentation of client’s progress, and reviewed a minimum of twice a year
- Full understanding of client’s “health,” and identifying at-risk account

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Graphic Design or other related degrees)
- 2-3 years experience in account management, with digital and traditional deliverables
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellence in client interface and customer service
- Good knowledge of content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress.
- Experience working with both creative and technology teams
- Exceptional communication skills – you will often be speaking with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Confident and experienced in speaking to clients in person and on the phone
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining command of deliverables, timelines and next steps
- We are a Mac shop so knowledge of the OS should be second nature
- Some travel may be required
- Interests in digital, art and design community welcome
- Creative, passionate, and easy-going spirit
- Looking for an upbeat person that can be a team leader, but also a great team member. Sense of humor a big plus
- Experience with account management and collaboration tools like Basecamp, Smartsheets, Google Docs, Slack, PowerPoint, etc. preferred
