Digital marketing agency BSTRO was named a Top 100 Women-Owned Business this week by the San Francisco Business Times.
The announcement was made in San Francisco at Women Who Lead, an event celebrating women’s achievements in business and leadership.
BSTRO’s Owner and CEO, Jill Tracy says,
It’s an honor to be included in this list of inspiring women-owned business who are making a difference across all sectors of our economy. I started BSTRO at my kitchen table in 2004 to provide marketing solutions that were designed for engagement. I had no idea that we would grow into an international digital marketing agency and be included in such esteemed company as Stella & Dot and Rodan + Fields.
BSTRO’s commitment to women expands well beyond the company’s ownership. 75% of the agency’s management team are women, and 60% of the development team are women. BSTRO is also certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Tracy continues,
Everywhere I go, I keep hearing that the future is female. In our case, our present—and our future—is female, and we couldn’t be more proud. Our team’s diversity is one of BSTRO’s competitive advantages.
This is BSTRO’s second major recognition from San Francisco’s business community this year. The agency was also named one of the Bay Area’s Top 50 LGBTQ+ owned businesses in 2018.
