Hallam Expands Its Digital Marketing Teams With Nine New Hires

Nottingham-based strategic digital marketing agency Hallam has further expanded its team with nine new specialists to support an abundance of new business taken on in the first quarter of 2019.

The agency has experienced some impressive client wins including retainer work for The United Nations and some huge B2B companies including Europe’s largest paper manufacturer and the UK’s largest gas maintenance provider.

Hallam has a reputation for employing the cream of the digital marketing crop and the new intake of nine employees includes earned media, owned media and paid media experts, front end web specialists and digital producers. These new hires allow more expertise and services to be offered to clients than ever before.

Hallam’s web team has gained a new leader – Tom Elliot, Head of Front End. Tom has worked as a web developer in the creative and web industries for the past 15 years. He played a lead role in the development of many varied web projects; from interactive virtual experiences and web games to bespoke portals and complex e-commerce systems. His past clients include Coca Cola, Showcase Cinemas, East Midlands Trains and London School of Economics.

Elizabeth Hatton joins the creative studio as a Digital Producer. She has over seven years of experience in project management for digital projects for blue chip clients. Specialising in the PRINCE2 project management methodology, Elizabeth will be applying her knowledge to a range of projects at Hallam.

Hallam has hired Chloe Deans as a Digital PR and Outreach Executive to support the Earned Media team. The University of Lincoln graduate has a strong background in content marketing, and traditional PR across a variety of sectors.

Deans commented on her new appointment,

I am delighted to be joining Hallam at such an exciting time for the company. I know that working for a business that was recently named as No. 1 Agency in the Midlands in the Drum Top 100 Independent Agency Census is a great opportunity for me.

Joining Chloe to support the growing demand for earned media at Hallam is Olivia Conroy. Olivia has over four years’ experience in Marketing and Communications, with a specialism in Social Media Marketing. She joins the team at Hallam as a Social Media Executive working closely with interdepartmental teams to enhance clients’ social media presence.

Lauren Dalrymple, Emily Swinscoe and Keira Davidson join Hallam as Owned Media Executives working on search engine optimisation and conversion rate optimisation for B2B and B2C clients. All three have gained agency experience in previous roles working with a variety of client industries such as residential construction, services and hospitality.

With a background in Digital Film Production, Robert Palmer is Hallam’s newest Paid Media Executive specialising in Google Search Network, Bing and Facebook. Molly Watters also joins the Paid Media team as an Executive having previously undergone an all-encompassing marketing role for a small business where she managed all aspects of marketing.

Stuart Ross, Managing Director of Hallam, commented,

The wider team and I at Hallam are delighted to welcome our new colleagues to the team. Hallam is committed to giving our clients a competitive edge and our newest recruits’ expertise in PR, social media, SEO, PPC and web development will support this vision.

The demand for digital marketing to enhance business reputations and generate new business continues at pace and with these new hires, we build on our existing expertise to both deliver results and provide our clients with the best service possible.
