To show the company’s support for LGBTQ community and its employees, Intel celebrated Pride Month with 300 “Shooting Star” drones.
The event took place on June 23 in Folsom, California airspace, which reminds us Intel’s previous show created for TIME’s first cover shot by drone a few weeks ago.
Including symbolic illustrations of the Pride flag and same-sex symbols, Intel‘s show was celebrating diversity and equality.
Barb Whye, chief diversity and inclusion officer, Intel, said:
We stand with our LGBTQ colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers and the entire LGBTQ community, by showing our support through our words and actions. It’s an honor to be the CDIO of a company that is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community, taking demonstrable actions toward building a more inclusive workforce and a more inclusive culture.

Intel established the Intel Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allied Employee Resource Group (IGLOBE) 20 years ago and the company has been working hard to raise awareness as well as building a society that values equal opportunity for all people as they stated on their website.
Holding the Guinness World Record for the most unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying in the air simultaneously, Intel again surprised us with an amazing show, promising that we will be seeing those sweet drones more often.
