Samsung’s Latest Video Makes Picture Frames Great Again

Despite the greatness of the artworks, Samsung’s recent issue is about picture frames – and their big mystery.

Spending a day at the museum, art-lovers are getting shocked about how the precious artworks inside the frames suddenly dissapear. A bunch of people, terrified, looking at blank frames where paintings once hung. The staff is alarmed and stuff, but of course there’s an explanation: TV When it’s On. Art When it’s Off.

When a man on his sofa, who is seen scrolling through a listing of artworks from his Samsung QLED technology TV, he decides to choose which one to display in his lounge. A feature of Samsung’s new Frame TV  is to show art when it isn’t active. The ad was created by directed by Gary Freedman and created by Adam&EveDDB, by Brad Wolfe and Daniel Bailey.

Mystery solved. It’s an ad. The paintings run in digital. The spot runs globally, online.
