What’s the job?

This is a full-time position as a Content Consultant. which requires a strong focus and understanding of technical SEO in particular. In addition; at consultant level, we would expect applicants to have strategic business acumen and experience. Your job will be to identify the opportunity to produce fantastic content

The Role:

• Create effective and engaging content for a variety of clients in a range of industries
• Carry out content reviews and audit current copy on client’s websites
• Plan and deliver data-driven content for a range of industries
• Conduct keyword research and monitor search term rankings, understanding how to optimise content effectively
• Identify opportunities with competitor benchmarking and analysis
• Have a understanding of current SEO content strategies and clients
• Work with relevant members of the SEO team to deliver agreed results for clients
• Stay up to date with industry best practice guidelines
• Monitor and report to clients on growth gained from the ongoing outreach strategy and individual campaigns
• Ensure all content relates to the overarching SEO strategy in place for each client
• Be able to help inform the SEO team on link building activities based on content written
• Build communities online and in real life to share stories with once published, and engaged with readers about those stories
• Advantage: Being able to write press releases and have an understanding of digital PR

What we expect from you:

• You will have demonstrable copywriting skills with examples of previous work where possible
• At least 3 years industry experience, working in a similar role
• An understanding of SEO and the commercial benefit that can be delivered through organic growth
• Prior experience of using CMS platforms like WordPress or Email Platforms like Mailchimp
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
• Advantage: Being able to write press releases and have an understanding of digital PR
