Challenge
Mimi Plange is an edgy New York-based fashion designer. When the brand approached Built By Blank, it had a basic Shopify theme site that did not showcase the unconventional aesthetic of the brand. Additionally, the brand was not optimized for SEO.
Solution
The Built By Blank team designed a customized Shopify experience and built a bold website by utilizing large photo containers, large text, and bold but balanced color elements to create an edgy website that captures the aesthetic of the fashion designer.
The team also did in-depth competitive keyword research to optimize SEO, implementing meta tags and open graph tags for Facebook and other social media platforms sharing. Title tags were created based on the targeted keyword list. The web content structure was optimized for keyword optimization as per Google guidelines.
